CHS Membership
The Canadian Hearing Society (CHS) is the largest organization of its kind in North America. We have been serving deaf, deafened and hard of hearing individuals and their families since 1940.
CHS offers a wide range of programs such as audiology, counselling, interpreting and employment services, in a supportive and fully accessible environment. These programs are offered through our network of 26 offices.
Your CHS membership provides support to these programs and demonstrates your commitment to breaking down barriers for people with hearing loss.
Types Of CHS Membership
Individual Membership
One-Year Individual Annual Membership is just $25 and entitles you to:
- A one year subscription to our magazine, Vibes
- Voting privileges at our Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- Invitation to May Month activities
- Other benefits provided by your local CHS office
- Enrollment in Sound Rewards program
Family Membership
Family Membership is just $25 plus $5 for a family member residing at the same address. Benefits are the same as for the Individual Membership except each member of your family has voting privileges at the CHS Annual General Meeting.
Lifetime Membership
Lifetime Membership is $250 or $25/month for 10 months. As a lifetime member you receive all of the above benefits plus:
- A beautiful CHS pin
- A tax receipt
- A lifetime of knowing you made a difference
