General Job Description:
- Importing, cleaning, transforming and validating data relating to the culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing demographic
- Assist CHS team in developing methods to collect information by survey questionnaire techniques
- Assists in the preparation of conclusions and forecasts by analysing and interpreting data summaries; identifying differences in relationships among sources of information
- Prepares data by computer readouts, graphs, charts, tables, written reports, or other methods
Experience/ Skills:
- Must be able to work independently
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- An interest in and sensitivity to issues related to communication and hearing loss
- Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, and Access
- Experience/Education working, generating and validating statistics
- Must be able to work with confidential information; sign a confidentiality agreement
- Possess excellent math, organization, research, and problem solving skills
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and various other programmes as needed
- A satisfactory Criminal Police Information Request ( CPIC) required
- ASL and French language skills an asset
